Yet, every once in awhile, sanding is needed for small adjustments, often on small pieces. And more than hating sanding, I very much dislike electric whining howling things. No electric sanders around here. This is a happy compromise. It&#8217;s actually overbuilt, with dovetail joinery and an interior baffle (to keep it square &#8211; doh!), and a dado slot along the top as a guide for a push tool I never built. A cleat along the bottom lets the box slide along the ways.<\/p>\n<p>The faceplate is a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/TPI-Diameter-Aluminum-Faceplate\/dp\/B003OC9FYS\/ref=as_li_ss_tl?s=power-hand-tools&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1457804200&amp;sr=1-33&amp;refinements=p_4%3AEasy+Wood+Tools&amp;linkCode=ll1&amp;tag=accessmatters-20&amp;linkId=0c6ea6cd84cc36314686bae108e9337c\">4&#8243; Easy Wood Tools aluminum faceplate<\/a> with a simple block of wood screwed on.
