These shots are for the youngster who wanted to see the whole boat, not just the top or bottom. As always, click on any image to see a larger version.

That looks fantastic. A beautiful piece of work. When are you off to the lake?
September 6th, 2009 at 12:36 pmProbably tomorrow, after we get a PFD* for my best friend and partner. She’ll want to paddle too.
PFD = Personal Flotation Device, a stupid name created by some governmental bureaucrat. Life Vest/Jacket wasn’t a good enough name, and since the government has so much of our money to spend, they do it this way; making up new names for things that already have perfectly good names. Even the Coast Guard boating safety instructors giggle at the stupidity.
September 6th, 2009 at 1:13 pmAt long last, you must feel a great sense of accomplishment Bob. It was a pleasure watching the build. Thanks for taking the time to share it and document it. Enjoy it for many years!
September 6th, 2009 at 3:50 pmPeople like me will amble over and check her out everytime you put in. Just beautiful.
September 6th, 2009 at 7:05 pmThanks Jameel. We’ll see about the sense of accomplishment tomorrow when the boat gets wet.
I think of you, and your “Glide,” every time I bend down to “have a discussion” with the sticky parallel guide on the leg vice of my bench.
BTW, your bench one year later looks fabulous. I use mine differently and it shows quite a few battle scars. Yet, I’m probably as happy with mine as you are with yours. It does the job very well.
